I actually love how the Doctors relationship with Clara is right now.

I completely understand why he’s so… what’s the right word, attached? to her.

He just went through this big lose with Amy. Amy Pond, a person he was so close to. He traveled with her for so long and then she’s gone. Their relationship is over forever. And he hid himself away.

And now finally he’s accepted someone into his life again and he just wants to jump into being as close as he was with Amy with Clara. I think that’s what may be interpreted as ‘feelings’ but really it’s just the Doctor wanting that relationship again.

Call me crazy,tell me i’m wrong, but that’s what I think of that.

watching doctor who and the Doctors threatening the daleks that he’s gonna blow them up with the TARDIS self destruct (but it’s actually a cookie) and the Daleks are like “What about you Doctor?”

and the Doctors like “Occupational hazard!”

And now all I can think about is the Doctor going back to the viking times and having some sort of adventure with Hiccups dad and somehow introducing him to that phrase

Something about these new episodes is bugging me….

the build in them just feels so off.

In these episodes it’s been like major danger from beginning to start most of the time.

I used to really like those cute/slow moments in the beginning of the episodes. Like in this one I would have loved if it opened with the kids nagging Clara to try out the time machine and then them running on to the TARDIS and the Doctor getting that goofy smile as they yell “IT’S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE”

(or for him to get a ‘I have no idea how that just happened’ moment when they say “it’s smaller on the outside”)

and then for the doctor to start running around the console, watch his coat tails fly as he questions the kids about where they want to go, they give ‘I don’t know’ and other vague answers and then a lightbulb goes off in the doctors head, and he smirks, yells something about a brilliant idea and then slams that lever down and the intro comes in

I don’t know why… but without those few slow moments, the danger and reality of the big bads in the episode just don’t happen for me.

Please tell me if i’m crazy or not

When I watched Journey to the Center of the TARDIS

I was really hoping that not just recent events from the past were leaking.

I knew it wasn’t going to happen, but I would have found it cool if when Clara looked down one of the passage ways she saw Amy and Rory bickering or something. Or like River consoling the Doctor or anything.
